Jupiter beach "barefoot friendly" with Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project

Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project: Jupiter, FL Cleanup

The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project will clean 25 beaches in 2012 and Jupiter is on the list. A cleanup is scheduled Saturday, Aug. 11, 3 -5 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the Surfrider tent, Carlin Park, 400 N. Ocean Blvd.  It won’t be all work. A celebration organized by the Surfrider Foundation, featuring  free wine and “surf-inspired fare,” will be held
6-8 p.m. at Duffy’s Sports Grill, 11588 US Hwy 1, N. Palm Beach. Tickets to the party will be distributed at the cleanup.

Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches, will clean beaches nationwide with the assistance of community volunteers; be one of them – and celebrate. Must be 21 years old.
