East Broward

Fort Lauderdale: Games, contests and live entertainment from 4 to 9 p.m., DJ from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m. Fort Lauderdale Beach, A1A and Las Olas Boulevard. 954-828-5363,FortLauderdale.gov .

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea: A parade down Bougainvillea Drive, starting at10 a.m. From 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; picnic on Town Hall grounds with jugglers, a dunk tank and live music. Water-hose demonstrations for kids by the town’s volunteer fire department in El Prado Park (on the beach across from Town Hall). Fireworks at 9 p.m. Bougainvillea Drive, 4501N. Deerfield Beach: Entertainment, arts, crafts and food vendors, as well as a Kid’s Zone from1to 9 p.m. Bands will take the stage from 12:30 to 9:30 p.m. Free parking and trolley pickups will be available at the Cove Shopping Center,1500 E. Hollywood Beach: Start off at Charnow Park (Garfield Street and the Broadwalk) with a DJ, patriotic tattoos, music and games for children from1 to 6 p.m. Music at the Hollywood Beach Theater at 1 p.m. with Fusion Dance Band, and then the Ruby Baker Band at 7 p.m. Offshore fireworks display presented by Pyrotecnico starts at 9 p.m. Holly-wood Beach Theater,100 Johnson St. 954-921-3404hollywoodfl.org  .
  
West Broward

Coral Springs: Mullins Park - food and activities will be available starting at 6 p.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m. $3 parking fee. Mullins Park,10180 NW 29th St. 954-345-2200.

Davie
Pine Island Park: Activities begin at1 p.m. on the ball fields. Kids activities and entertainment, swimming, and food trucks. Free cake will be served (while supplies last) to celebrate our country’s birthday. Fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. by Firepower Displays Unlimited. Pine Island Park, 3801S. Vista View Park: Fireworks viewing at the highest man made elevation in Broward County.  Park opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m.  Playgrounds and shelters will be closed. Admission before 7:30 will be gate entrance fee of $1.50 per person (children 5 or younger free); price goes up to $2 per person after 7:30 p.m. Vista View Park, 4001SW 142nd Ave., Davie. 954-357-8898.
   
Flamingo Gardens’ Old-Fashioned Fourth: Half-price day, carnival games from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Flamingo Gardens, 3750   S. Flamingo Road, Davie. Admission is $9 for ages12 or older, $5 for ages 4-11, members and children 3 or younger are free. 954-473-2955FlamingoGardens.org.
        
Margate: Parade down Margate Boulevard along 76th Avenue to Margate Municipal Complex from 9 to11:30 am. Following the parade,free hot dogs, beverages, music and bounce houses. Plantation:  Parade 9 a.m. at the corner of West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 46th Avenue, ending at City Hall. At Plantation Central Park, a children’s carnival at 5:30 p.m. and a concert by Viva Classic Rock and Roll at 7:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase during the evening. Sunrise

Delray Beach: Sand-sculpture contest from 8 a.m. to noon and an extreme-volleyball match between Delray Beach and Miami Beach from 4 to 6 p.m. Kids activities, art exhibition and more 3 to 9 p.m. Food will be sold, and there will be a beer garden. Lake Worth: Bryant Park -Annual Great American Raft Race, featuring the Parade of Rafts from Lake Avenue to Bryant Park Boat Ramp at 10 a.m. Centennial Championship Raft Race will float down the Intracoastal Waterway at11 a.m. Entertainment from noon to 8:30 p.m. Sunset Dance and fireworks viewing at Lake Worth Casino Building and Beach Complex from 7 to 10 p.m. for $35 per person.
